Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. This is a pop-up movable book written in rhyme and fantastically illustrated. There is wear on the top and bottom of the spine. There is a gift inscription on the first spread that says: "Season's Greetings! Ira" On the first spread one of the pasted attachments has come loose, but is not missing. On the third spread there is a missing cloud attachment on the left page. On the third spread there is a missing lily pad attachment on the right page. Despite the three damaged or missing areas, the book is an entertaining and captivating example of Gorey's illustration and imagination.
