The second part of the book contains a wide selection of the most modern russian play, and the forces set in motion by the Hypermoderns are seen in full flower. the arrangement of this section by openings makes it a useful guide to modern dynamic play, and the juxtaposition of the ideas of the two periods helps to indicate the direction in which these ideas are moving, thus making them easier to understand.
