Completes Treece's Mycenaean Greek trilogy: Jason (1961), Electra (1963: US title, The Amber Princess); and the US edition of the ancient legend of OEDIPUS was retitled as THE EAGLE KING. Henry Treece (1911 - 1966) was a British poet and writer who also worked as a teacher and editor. He wrote a large range of poetry, short stories, and historical novels for children and adults.
