This series has its own ISBN number, 9061938813. Since 1904, tthe River Wye has been extensively tapped by reservoirs to supply Birmingham with water. Proposals to enlarge the Craig Goch reservoir "to provide storage to regulate the nautral flow" of the now depleted Wye, triggered the realisation that the ecology of the Wye was not sufficiently understood. This book provides a digest of research on the River Wye to time of publication.
