The foredge stamp and spine call letters have been marked out with black marker, previous owner's bookplate on pastedown, first original page has been stabilized with a rebind sheet of paper, the publisher's info on the title page has a square of paper pasted partially over it with the "1864 - 1864" handwritten on it, likely by the library to clarify dates covered. Bound in brown library buckram with gilt title on spine. There appear to be missing ads at the front, the first paginated page is 67 with insufficient pages to account for this, 3 ad pages present prior to the title page, then completed city info, personal directory and business directory sections, followed by business ads at the end. Front cover is scuffed, light corner wear, binding tight, bright gilt.
