EMCH, Arnold. An Introduction to Projective Geometry and Its Applications: An Analytic and Synthetic Treatment. New York: John Wiley & Sons / London: Chapman & Hall, Limited, 1905. First Edition. First Thousand, indicating this is the first printing of the book, limited to 1000 copies. Octavo (8vo), vii, 267pp. Bound in the original publisher's dark green cloth, spine gilt-lettered. A very scarce copy of the true first printing of Emch’s seminal early 20th-century treatise combining abstract projective theory with graphic statics and engineering mechanics. Unidentified signature in fountain pen across the title page, with a similar name in pencil on the first free endpaper. Good to Very Good condition. Remnants of some kind of label on the back cover. Binding remains tight and square with original dark green cloth showing minor shelf wear and light rubbing to the spine ends and corners. Hinges are sturdy. Internal text block is clean and bright with only very light toning.

Store description
In Libris Veritas specializes in vintage, antique, collectible, and obscure non-fiction. While this may be too broad to define as a single category, it allows us to buy, sell, and collect books that interest readers and collectors, and which often end up on our own bookshelves when we forget to sell them. Some of the areas we specialize in are medicine, engineering, technology, psychology, agriculture, the occult, religion, spirituality, and militaria. We are second-generation booksellers. Our family has been in the book trade since 1975, when my mother was an antiquarian book dealer.…
