Over all very good condition. Three quarto volumes, half calf with marbled boards, titles in gilt on brown leather labels across slightly sunned spines, five raised bands, a relatively recent rebinding for Heraldry Today and bearing previous owner's bookplate on new front end papers, foxing to engraved titles and first few leaves otherwise clean and bright, plates in Volume three subject to toning expected toning. volume I: title plus xii plus 275 pages and title, Volume II is an alphabetical dictionary and is not paginated (672 pages) signatures B to 6T complete. Volume III 14 pages of reference/index for the plates, CXI plates printed recto only then signatures B to 4c2 (464 pages unpaginated) and then 25 plates printed recto only.
