Dust jacket rubbed with spots of surface abrasion; nicks, short tears, and some creasing at edges; front flap's top corner is not price-clipped. Tan cloth with red stamping to front board and spine. Muted red top edge; deckle fore-edge. Mild toning to endpapers; interior pages are clean. Binding is firm. Else a near fine copy in a very good dust jacket. Issued as part of Devin-Adair Company American Naturalists Series.
