Octavo. 228 pp., folding frontis. First American edition. In contemporary sheep with black morocco title label on the spine. Lower corner of the front board is stained in addition to some spot staining to the rear cover; moderate to heavy foxing throughout; folding frontispiece is crisp. "Saissy described a Eustachian bougie; he was probably the first to use this instrument. Besides dealing with the labyrinth, this book discusses diseases of the tympanum and Eustachian tube" Garrison and Morton 3365.
