Original red cloth. In original pictorial proof dust jacket with blank flaps and rear panel; price (12/6N) written in pen on front flap. 313, [1] pages. Pencil correction to uneven title page line spacing. Though no provenance markings, this copy from the library of noted Sherlockian, BSI member since 1973, and retired US magistrate judge Andrew Peck. Light edgewear and minor soil to boards, pencil to front free endpaper. Light scuffing and chipping to jacket, closed tears to front flap fold. Minor soil to rear jacket panel.
