Good+ Dust jacket illustrated with a girl, boy, goose and goat on front, black-and-white illustration on back of family picnic. Chipping at edges and rub wear, fading to spine. A mylar dust jacket has been added. Very Good+ binding is orange cloth over boards with with line illustration of goose carrying a man. Black lettering on spine, light soiling to edges, slightly faded spine, discoloration to end papers. Name written on front free end paper. Black-and-white illustrations within by Kate Seredy. The binding is tight and pages are clean. The book measures 9.0" tall x 6.4" wide.
