Hardback. viii,421pp. First edition. By theologian and teacher George Andrew Jacob 1807-1896. Full leather fine binding by Hatchards, Piccadilly with their stamp to the recto of the free front endpaper. Gilt ruled borders to boards, raised bands to spine with gilt decorations. Gilt dentelles. Marbled endpapers and Matching marbled page edges. Externally very clean and bright with the leather is really very beautiful condition. Some slight foxing and age toning within, more pronounced to the prelims. Very good copy.
