Granderson). 4 photographs by Billie Brown and drawings by Nash and Ditte Nielsen. 55 pp. Soiling and offsetting/sunning to covers with a small indentation near upper staple. INSCRIBED by the editor on the half-title page: "To the family i ve known for so long enjoy. Love to you all Debora Nash 79 P.S. comments welcome (Piri especially)" [Piri Thomas, author of the 1967 autobiography Down These Mean Streets]. First and apparently only issue of this journal. Nash writes in her Foreword, "People must and will eventually realize that we are all drops in the sea of a humanity composed of many colors and cultures. We must also realize that we are all tied to one origin, one cradle of mankind, which is Africa…we must realize that the exploration of Black culture is the exploration of African culture and, ultimately, the exploration of human culture. Accepting this fact does not require assent or surrender, for it is beyond erasure."Introductory poem by Ntozake Shange, with Afrocentric and Black liberation poetry by Paul Binning Tinker, Lamont Tandy, Nash, Stacey A.
