Item description from seller

This 5.25 x 7.75 inch, 185 page softcover book is the true first edition of this title in 1985 with the copyright of 1985 and that date appearing on the title page. This book with stiff cardstock wrappers and printed by Eds Printing, Chico, CA is in fine condition with the wrappers with artistic illustration and titling on the front panel and black titling on the spine showing no signs of handling damage or wear. The text pages are also fine with only a curious spotting on the top of the text block when the book is firmly closed. The interior text shows no markings or damage with the forward of the book using the title word Forward! by Edward Abbey encouraging overt resistance to the tide of environmental degradation sweeping across the world. The book features a photograph and short biography about the editor Dave Foreman on the red outside panel of the wrapper.
