First edition, fourth impression of Nobel laureate Paul A. Samuelson's monumental work, widely regarded as the most influential economics textbook of the twentieth century. Published by McGraw-Hill in 1948, this volume is bound in the publisher's original teal/green cloth with navy blue and gilt stamping on the spine and front cover. Slight blemishes on cover. See images. This copy is offered without the original dust jacket. The exterior shows honest shelf wear appropriate for its age, including minor rubbing along the extremities, lightly bumped spine ends, and gentle softening at the corners. Internally, the binding remains secure and intact. Pages carry a natural vintage toning, remaining clear, legible, and structurally sound throughout. One page with brief marginalia - photo included. A highly collectable early printing of a foundation text in modern economic education. See images as part of description.

Store description
I’ve loved books since before I could read. You could say I have a slight problem and have bought too many over the years, although in my opinion there is no such thing as too many books! Er, until one runs out of shelf space. That is my current predicament. My house is small and my collection is large. I’m hoping to find these old friends new readers who will love and appreciate them as much as I have enjoyed them. I also look for unique and out of print books that I feel may find a spot on a shelf in another home. I am an individual seller and just enjoy sharing my love of books.…
