Item description from seller

No stated date but believed to be 1982. First edition. Unpaginated but 16 pages including many black and white illustrations. The Edinburgh Synagogue is an Orthodox Jewish congregation and synagogue, located at 4a Salisbury Road in the Newington area of Edinburgh. . In 1932 the synagogue building was complemented by a community centre on the opposite side of the road. This was sold off in the 1980s and the proceeds invested in dividing the synagogue building to create a community centre underneath the sanctuary. This book was issued as a commemorative volume to mark the consecration and opening of the new Synagogue and Community Centre. The book is bound in the original grey cloth covered boards with gold titling on the front board. The book is in excellent condition and the contents are tight and clean with no inscription.
