Includes chapers on: School and College; The 'Pall Mall Gazette'; 'In Afrikanderland'; Assistant-Editor of the 'Pall Mall'; Egypt and Nordrach; 'The Westminster Gazette'; Editor of the 'Cape Times'; 'Story of an African Crisis'; Member of the Cape Assembly; Broken Threads; and Vita Nuova. Book has gilt titles to spine and upper board. Light wear to corners, bottom corners lightly bumped, and mild browning to spine. Top edge rough-cut. Previous owner's book plate tipped into front pastedown, inscription to FFEP. Very minor foxing to endpapers. Otherwise, pages and contents are in vg condition. Seller Inventory # AfricaSouth094
