Cloth, F. unpaginated ( 152pp ), 126 colour illustrations including 4 gatefold pages, printed on very heavy card stock, a fine copy save for a small ownership signature to the endpaper & a slight amount of shelfwear to the cloth. A superbly illustrated overview of the work of the London based artist modernist impressionist painter Edward Beale. His paintings of London are worked from locations near his studio in Lambeth and along the Thames from Millbank to the Royal Docks. He works in situ and subjects for his landscapes include the Western Isles of Scotland, the English countryside and southern France. Hi landscapes noted for their power and energy. A quote from the book reads - 'so thick is the paint on some of his works that it takes years for it to dry fully. The weight of the paint means a lot can happen, it can run in ways I can't foresee'. 2375 grams.

Shipping terms
For Domestic orders, shipping is based upon the total weight of the order & not per book. Shipping rates to most countries are now based upon the actual weight of the book or books, so ( all things being equal ) the price for shipping is the true cost of sending your order. So, a small paperback will be far cheaper than a large tome - CHEERS ABE FOR THIS. We ship to all nations. All items are packed individually and to a very high standard, using only easily recyclable materials. We DO NOT just stick the book in a polythene mailer with a prayer.
