1st edition. Large 4to. 26pp. 13 bw illustrations in 6 large plates. Publisher's grey wrappers, black lettering + cartouche on front. Covers : faint browning, light stain from hinges coming through, cigarette but burn on front edge also singing first two pages. Contents : bump top corner, 2 x 1cm tear + crease at bottom corner one page ( but no loss ), 1cm very small tear affecting bottom edge of 3 pages ( no loss ) else clean, tight & unfoxed. VG.

We describe our books very carefully.
Every description ends with a declaration of overall condition - for example, F/VG means the book is fine condition with no faults and the dust wrapper is very good condition, complete and no significant loss although there may be a few slight marks or even some very minor chips.
The discription may be softened slightly for much older books.
We do accept payment by Sterling cheque.
We accept PayPal direct - please send to books@deightons.com.
We no longer accept credit cards direct, although you can pay by credit card using the PayPal facility.
Packing and postage is charged extra at cost, Royal Mail first class or MyHermes in the UK only.
In general, we do not send books on approval although exceptions can sometimes be made.
Condition is described as accurately as possible, but if you are dissatisfied, the book may be returned
within ten days of receipt.
