Very interesting early grammar of Old English written in English. A scarce and collectible title; students of Old English verse will be interested to see that poems are here laid out short lines, with no caesura, and only one "half-line" to the printed line. This copy very clean (but with offsetting from facsimile page, as usual); rebound, perhaps ca. 1900 in half-leather over marbled paper boards. Binding still fairly solid. Nice book.
