The cover is rubbed, splitting along the joints but held, spine is knocked head and tail, some loss at the head, gutter is split after the frontispiece and reinforced with stitching, some shading to the prelims, foxing in places, two plates are pasted down, the colours are good and the binding tight, the book is in good condition. Bound in brown cloth with gilt ruling and titles to the spine, red speckled edges quarto 22 x 13.5cm Hardback.
