Salzman (from the German); printed by Oliver & Boyd, Edinburgh; G&WB Whittaker, Ave-Maria Lane; and N. Hailes, Piccadilly London 1821; rebound in 1/2 dark mauve leather with green leather label with title in gilt, and green leather label at bottom with the date 1821, marbled boards and new cream coloured endpapers; all edges are uncut, small 8vo, 270pps of original book + 5pps b&w engravings incl frontispiece; engraving on inside original front page dated Feb 1848, book in good clean condition with some very slight foxing on occasional pps, and some very slight wear.

I am selling off my collection of books, 6-8,000 titles or more, collected over the last 60 years. I used to own Harveys Books in Leicester, UK till it closed down in the mid 90's, so have been involved in 2nd Hand & Antiquarian books, on and off, since 1968.
