Hardcover. Condition: Fair. 1st Edition. Large 8vo. Pp xix, 322. Photographic frontis, with numerous further plates and illustrations in the text. Folding colour map. Original cloth, stamped and lettered gilt. Wear to the edges and some bumping to the corners. Pulling to the top and bottom of the spine, with wear to the outer hinges; rear hinge cracked and repaired. Inner hinges cracked but secure. Internally clean and sound; occasional light foxing.
