First UK edition. Three novelettes in one book: The Empty Hours, "J" and Storm. Jacket design by D. Mcloughlin. Red cloth with black line drawing of bloodhound to front, black titles to spine. All edges red. Binding firm. Slight fading to top of boards. Residue of removed label and brown marks to front free endpaper, residue of sellotape marks to front and back endpapers. Content generally clean with occasional marks. Blue ink reference numbers to back free endpaer. Jacket unclipped 12s 6d net, chipping to spine ends and front top corner, spine slightly sunned, sellotape residue to edges of flaps, slight brown staining interanlly. 175 pp. All books are individually described.
