1930 on title page; "Published June 1930" on copyright page. Bound in orange boards with gold and blue lettering and design on the front board and gold lettering on the spine; top page edges tinted blue; illustrated endpapers; color frontispiece illustration. A "Merry Christmas to Robbie" note in ink on the half-title page, else unmarked; spine square; corners sharp, spine ends bumped with a touch of wear. The dust jacket is not price-clipped (original price $2.50 at top of front flap) though the bottom of the front flap is clipped; chipped and edgeworn; a half-inch closed tear at top of spine; Brodart protected.
