1st edition (fourth impression, 1939), pp.xix, 268, some light foxing to edges, uncut, original bright cloth boards, yellow lettering to spine, one very small hole to lower d.j. spine and a small chip upper spine. Contents clean. Near fine condition in a very good price unclipped bright dust-jacket. This copy is a fourth impression of the US edition published in 1939, same year as the first edition (1939), the book was more successful in Britain than in the United States. Winston Churchill, then still out of office, wrote the first review. On becoming Prime Minister, he gave the order to include 'The End of Economic Man' in the book kit issued to every graduate of a British Officers' Candidate School.
