Otherwise clean and tidy throughout. Ink signature of one of the translators of this new edition , W H Chaloner on front free end paper. A scarce copy of this classic work of 1844, newly translated by Chaloner and Henderson., concerning the standard of ,living of the working class within England in the early Victorian era, with a particular emphasis on the Manchester area.
