First edition, hardcover, has a lean to the binding, light bumps to the spine ends and cover corners, some slight waving to the edges of the text block, a touch of smudging to the back cover with a small area of shallow soiling near the tail of the hinge, and a previous owner's small rectangular book plate to the upper fore corner of the front fly leaf. Otherwise, this is a solid, tight, Very Good copy in a like dust jacket, which has bumps with slight creasing to the spine ends and corners, very moderate rubbing with some faint scrapes and impressions to the covers and spine, and mild wear to the edges. The jacket is wrapped in Mylar, and additional images are available upon request.

About the Author

Dr. Eloy Koldeweij studied History of Art at Leiden University where he specialises in decorative arts and historic interiors. He has worked at the V&A Museum and several Dutch museums and is presently the National Co-Ordinator of Interiors at the Netherlands Department for Conservation.
