Copyright date 1894, first edition, first printing. Red cloth over boards with silver and gilt lettering and design on the front and on the spine, blind stamped decorations on the front board. Illustrated throughout with black and white illustrations. No Dust Jacket. Shelf wear to the edges and to the head and toe of the spine are moderate. With light fading to the spine, a scratch on the back board. A small booksellers label on the inside lower right corner of front inside cover. Text and illustrations remain bright and clean, binding a secure, a solid scarce book.
