First edition, first impression. Some edge wear, chipping, short closed tears and small loss to top and bottom of largely blue jacket and spine, folds rubbed, corners slightly rubbed and bruised, not price clipped (18s), pencil previous owner's name to ffep, internally clean tight and square, overall a vg+ copy for it's age. 164pp. A manual written to help Britain win more international rowing competitions. By flamboyant rowing coach Peter Haig-Thomas (1882-1959), and Oxford rower and school teacher Matthew Archibald Nicholson. Quite a scarce book.
