Collects the following stories: "Host Age" (first appeared in New Worlds in 1955); "Lungfish" (first appeared in Britain in Science Fantasy in 1957); and "No Other Gods But Me" (first appeared in what the acknowledgments page of this book describes as a "shorter and substantially different form" as "A Time To Rend" in Science Fantasy in 1958). The version included in Entry to Elsewhen was written in 1966 and first appears in this collection. Cover art by Jack Gaughan. Paperback original. Stated "FIRST PRINTING 1972" on copyright page, therefore presumed first edition, first printing thus. Mass market paperback. Publisher book number UQ1026, cover price $0.95. This is a used book. Pages are clean and bright with no markings, notes, or highlighting. Covers show only minor shelf wear and are not creased. Mild rubbing to the rear panel. No owner's marks or bookplates, not ex-library. Price tag on front cover. Binding is tight and square. Corners lightly bumped. An excellent reading copy.

We guarantee the condition of every book as it's described on the AbeBooks web sites. If you're dissatisfied with your purchase (Incorrect Book/Not as Described/Damaged) or if the order hasn't arrived, you're eligible for a refund within 30 days of the estimated delivery date. If you've changed your mind about a book that you've ordered, please use the Ask bookseller a question link to contact us and we'll respond within 2 business days. This does not affect your statutory consumer rights including the right to withdraw from the contract and your statutory warranty rights.

Shipping terms
Shipping to US addresses is free; books are sent via US Postal Service. Please note that packages shipped this method can take up to four weeks to arrive. Upon request we will ship USPS Priority rate or Fed Ex for $7.00 for the first book and $1.50 for each additional title shipped at the same time. All books mailed with care and in most cases will include automatic delivery confirmation for tracking ability where available. International customers charged at cost. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required. Buyer pays shipping costs.
