Inscribed by the author during one of his visits to Sweden: "Para mis admirados amigos Mikaela e Ingemar Leckius, este libro escrito en el filo del peligro y el drama de la existencia, con el deseo de que os dé compañia y consuelo y os lleve mi verdadera y fiel amistad. / Justo Jorge Padrón / en Lund a 17 de mayo de 1998". Padrón's main Swedish translator was Artur Lundkvist. Swedish authors Mikaela and Ingemar Leckius translated five poems by Padrón, which were published in the magazine Artes in 1988, and Padrón translated poems by Ingemar Leckius for various Spanish anthologies of Scandinavian verse.
