Covers edgeworn with a small chip at top front corner, a few creases along fore-edge, and a quarter-sized spot of soiling at bottom front. Dampstain to bottom corner of rear cover continuing diminishingly through textblock, overlapping text on the final few pages but remaining in the margins elsewhere. Spotting and staining to preliminaries; some pencil marginalia to text, mostly relegated to the Socialism section of Chapter IV and the start of Chapter V. Binding is sound.
