About this Item
A smart first edition of this love-story set in the fabled Atlantis from Phyllis Cradock. First edition. A love story set in Atlantis in the period immediately before the second of the three great natural cataclysms which destroy the island continent. The lovers' story plays out against the background of a great civilization slowly crumbling. Written by Phyllis Nan Sortain Pechey, better known as Fanny Cradock, an English restaurant critic, television chef and writer. In the original full cloth binding. Externally, very smart with the odd small mark to the boards. Original price clipped dust wrapper is also smart with light shelf wear and minor chipping to the extremities. Light sunning to the spine and the odd small mark to the panels. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the odd spot and light age toning to the endpapers. Very Good.
