First Edition. Published Dec. 1901. Complete 2 Volume set. with portraits, Views and Facsimile Illustrations. Gold lettering and lining to the spine and front cover, still shining. Gilt to top edges. All other ages roughly trimmed. Excellent condition except slight rubbing to spine ends. No name and plate. The text body is free from reading marks. No foxing, no darkening. Not a library book. Wide margin, eye appealing. Some pages still not yet opened. 346 pp, 350 pp.

Postage costs quoted are based on an average-sized book, weighing 2 lbs / 1 kg; we will request extra charges if your book is larger than average. All Canadian and US parcels are shipped via Canada Post"expedited parcel" with tracking number. All books are carefully selected and thoroughly cleaned. Orders are processed as quickly as possible and are sent by the most economical means and fast ways. All orders are packed in recycled boxes. Upgraded shipping is available when required. International orders going surface, are sent via Canada Post "small packet" rate, which is the least expensive option for international shipments (most recommented). International airmail parcels are sent via Canada Post "Small packet-International air", which is insured but more expensive.
