Eugene Field: A Study in Heredity and Contradictions (Two volume set)

See photos for condition details. Hardcovers, two volume matched set. Maroon cloth boards decorated with gilt on front and spine, top edges are gilt as well. Exterior shows some spotting and scuffing with dark spots to the cloth. The interior bindings on both books are good and pages are tight. No signatures or bookplates, no library markings. Volume one does show wear a price sticker was placed near the upper right corner which damaged the paper when removed. This same page has indentations where something was once written and then erased, likely an old store price as well. Pages are mildly toned due to age and some scattered minor foxing is present.
