This is the THIRD yearbook issued by the University of Alberta (Edmonton). The university was then associated with Robertson College a Presbyterian theological institution and with Agricultural schools at Olds and Claresholm. Lots of club photos and information - among them ; the Wauneita Society, Student's Court, and the Varsity Mandolin Club. Robert L. Lamb, a law student, was the Rhodes Scholar for 1923. Hockey's Clarence Campbell is here as is Betty Mitchell -well known in the province's DRAMA community. Signature's from the fourth page in include : Claude Greenberg, M.G. McCallum, R.H. Page, G.L. Knighton, R.M. Baker, M.L. Watts. and Adna A. Reeves (Lacombe -Medicine 1928). Photos of sports teams, debating society members, faculty, activities, facilities in buildings. (The varsity rugby team played the Eskimos.) 107 pages including local store (etc.) adverts at the back - incl. e.g. Barootes Bros. Confectionery and Tea Room on Jasper Ave. Cond : Boards are pebbly dark green with gilt lettering and university coat-of-arms. spine is blank. Not issued with d.j. (??). End-papers are white. No signs of wear, bright tight and clean. No tears, creases, bumps, nor stains. Decidedly collectible - RARE from this era !! Quote (p.76) : " The Ags have taken their place with the best in all Varsity activities. The Ag-sci rugby team succeeded in wearing out several pigskins in their race for the inter-faculty honors.
