First edition. Thirty b/w plates (1-28 + 9a and 16a) + two fold-out views (fold-outs in very good condition with no tears). Includes stable offices, stables, training establishments, erected and designs for at various places including Laxton, Notts; Chobham, Surrey; Rufford Abbey, Notts; Cirencester House, Gloucestershire; Grafton Hall, Cheshire, Wandle House, Surrey; Ingestre Hall, Staffordshire, etc. Original green cloth with bright gilt line decoration and titles to front and spine (spine a little dulled). Some rubbing / scuffing to surfaces, rubbing to corners and spine ends, water stain to front, bottom corner. Boards a little bowed. Gutter cracked in a couple of places. Front pastedown slightly rippled. Light water mark to lower fore-edge but does not encroach onto plates or text. Previous owner ink name to top of title page. Not ex-library. 64 pp. All books are individually described. All overseas orders are sent airmail by Royal Mail International Tracked.
