About this Item
A good copy of a rare item, slightly loose to front hinge and a section of spine is loose, but present. This copy is interesting in that the author, in his Introduction, mentions that Lord Nelson had lost, or never had, the ace and three of hearts, such that the facsimile reproductions of these cards came from another source. There are manuscript notes from a 1930 owner, supplemented by a 1953 owner, that those two cards are incorrectly illustrated and explain what they should depict. Both the owners had an original pack in their possession. Seller Inventory # PC:020
