Photographic plates & other in-text illustrations. Pages are moderately tanned and occasionally foxed throughout. More notable foxing to prelims, end pages and text block edge. Previous owner's inscription to title page. Occasional pencil marks to margins. Hinges are cracked with exposed netting. Plates and fold outs appear complete. Some occasional moderate cracking to gutters throughout, exposing binding material, binding remains reasonably firm. Boards have mild edge wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Moderate crushing to spine ends, with fraying cloth and small splits. Book has a slight forward lean. Boards have minor damp and dust stains. Board corners are bumped.
