TWO volumes, both with the previous owners name and state on blank front free end-papers (in Copperplate script). There is a private Connecticut library bookplate on inside cover of each. Filled with interesting 'tidbits' of facts, dating back to 1560. Red leather spines with still bright titles (with small paper ex lib. # at lower spine). Tight volumes with moderate foxing. Volume 1 has a closed tear to one page;Volume II has a rear blank end-paper with two round 'holes'. A unique and interesting vintage issue. Hard to find title. Seller Inventory # 003154
