First Edition (first printing). 8vo. 252pp. Black boards lettered in silver at the spine and with a white-stamped eye decoration to the upper board. The title page printed in black and red. Edges lightly spotted, and with just a trace of light further spotting to the free endpapers alongside a hint of partial toning. A little spotting to the margins of a dozen preliminary leaves. A very good copy in good non-price-clipped (15s. net) dust wrapper, with some fading to the publisher's red spine panel lettering, a little creasing and wear, several tiny slivers of edge-loss. I understand that this is the second impression dust wrapper, although it is identical to that from the first impression. The eighth James Bond book but the first collection of Bond stories, comprising 'From a View to a Kill', 'For Your Eyes Only', 'Quantum of Solace', 'Risico', and 'The Hildebrand Rarity'.
