Offered is a first edition, first (and only) printing of "FEDERAL CONVICTS numbers 1128 and 1129 - College to Prison" most likely written, compiled and published by the parents of Arnold Chase Satterthwait and Frederick Howard Richards. No date is indicated, although the document was most likely published in late 1941 or early 1942. A high quality-produced pamphlet with dark green covers measuring 5-1/2" by 8-1/2" and containing 32 pages including front and rear covers. From the introduction, reading in part: "We, the parents of Arnold Chase Satterthwait and Frederick Howard Richards, find that since our sons have been sent to the Federal Penitentiary at Danbury, Connecticut, many people do not seem to understand just why the boys have refused to register under the Selective Service Act." With four photos: a portrait photo each of Arnold and Frederick; "Fred Interviews Mrs. [Eleanor] Roosevelt"; and "Arnold After 408 Miles by Bicycle." The Contents are: Chapter I - The Trials of Arnold Chase Satterthwait and Frederick Howard Richards (with topics The Two Trials; Statement of Arnold C.
