Presumed first edition (no direct statement provided). 62, [1] pages. Staple-bound paperback booklet: H 22.75cm x L 15.5cm. Colorfully illustrated front cover with unit insignia credited to LeGrand Capers at bottom right. Paper covers toned with some edge nicks and slight soiling, front cover has closed tear at bottom left and small surface abrasion at upper right from removal of past bookseller's sticker, 2.5cm slender paper loss at head of spine fold; rear cover has fourteen line ink inscription regarding initial service summary for commissioned and non-commissioned officers of Company C, 155th Infantry starting in December 1940. Text appears to be primarily comprised of excerpts from other sources all compiled together to review the First Mississippi Regiment's service beginning with the territorial period, the Mexican War, Civil War, Spanish-American War, and minimal mention of World War I. Only a good copy but an uncommon publication. {MS-Shelf#1}.
