First Impression. Octavo (19cm); navy blue cloth, with titling, ruled border, and publisher's logo stamped in orange on spine and front cover; viii,271,[1] + [8]pp publisher's ads. Light wear to extremities, a few corners gently bumped (though still sharp), light rubbing to rear cover, with offsetting to endpapers, and some faint, scattered foxing to text edges, preliminary, and terminal leaves; hinges sound; Very Good+, lacking the rare dustjacket. Housed in a custom slipcase. Fitzgerald's second book and first collection of short fiction, collecting eight stories, most of which were first published in the pages of The Saturday Evening Post and Scribner's Magazine.
