First edition. 127 pp. 8vo. Of all Andy Warhol's superstars Candy Darling (1944-1974) blazed the brightest. This book compiles edited diary entries written at different times and in different journals with various letters and sketches. Includes a preface by filmmaker Mary Harron who directed 'I Shot Andy Warhol' and by Jeremiah Newton and Francesca Passalacqua who were friends and roommates of Candy Darling. Pink vinyl padded boards with gilt on both sides and spine, metal lock pasted down to cover and two keys on a pink cord are present, very light rubbing to cover, pages are bright and binding is tight; a near fine and scarce copy.
