What makes this outdated video cassette guide valuable is that it is the first listing of its kind which covers all films, documentaries, music nd dance, and foreign films on Black historical themes since beginning of cinema, all well categorized by subject and genre (Blaxploitation and the Civil Rights Movement are two) and including historical information such as dates, directors, running times, each item given a brief historical review describing content, actors, etc. Many of these films are in the collection of Chicago's prestigious Facets Mutimedia film museum. An invaluable resource to scholars and collectors. Pristine, clean nd unmarked.
