First edition of this collection of French folklore, with tales of fairies, goblins, and magicians from various regions. Pages toned with inscription to front endpaper, lacking front blank, front hinge cracked, spine gently rolled, bubbling to cloth at front cover, rubbing and loss of cloth at corners and ends of spine, crease to spine and wear along edges, general soiling to cloth, else a very good copy of this scarce title.
