Peach colored hard cover with maroon lettering of the title at top left and author at bottom right on front cover, spine similar with addition of the publisher's logo at the bottom, back cover blank, no shelf wear but light soiling on edges where dust jacket has not protected, top page edges are tinted yellow/peach, and all page edges are lightly soiled, right and bottom page edges are rough cut, former owner's name inside the front cover is in ink, end sheets are slightly browned and pages touching them are lightly foxed. All pages are tight and clean. The dust jacket is in full color painted scene of a rural area with a plowed field, shocked sheet, golden field with a rail fence in the fore ground and a tree. The scene wraps around to the spine. All printing is in black. The back cover of the dust jacket has list of novels by the publishing company, front flap gives a synopsis of the book and a book mark i black, back flap is an ad for the publishing company. The bottom and top edges of the cover have small tears and small missing pieces, the spine is slightly faded as compared to the front of the jacket.
