Highlights of world history arranged in double column format, mainly by country, with detailed 1/3 to 1/2 page wood engravings plus engraved frontis plate. Worn volume in brown leather, marbled edges and endpapers, 720 pages. Covers heavily rubbed, spine covering absent, blank pages at front and rear absent, pages age-darkened, especially in the outer margins, but clean with some light foxing, no names or other markings. . First Edition. Hard Cover. Fair. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
